- The coupling must be selected with appropriate TORQUE (Appropriate coupling must be selected)
- Installation must be done properly
- The working conditions of the place where the installation will be carried out must be well determined (Temperature, Humidity, Dust, Vibration, etc.)
- During assembly, attention should be paid to axial, horizontal and angular misalignment.
- The two shafts must be axial and their axes must be parallel to each other.
- The coupling location should be adjusted in such a way that it should be easy to disassemble and a special coupling should be selected accordingly. 3-piece couplings are like this
It enables easy and quick disassembly of the coupling in places and reduces time and labor.
- In the compression type coupling assembly, the bolts must be at the "Torque Values" specified according to the data of the manufacturer companies in the package.
It needs to be tightened. The tightening of the bolts should be in a CIRCULAR CLOCKWISE direction and should not be tightened mutually.
This process should be done with the help of Torque Wrench.
- If the compression type coupling comes with a pilot hole, its hub must be machined within the specified tolerances.
Not every turner can do this job to the desired extent, so it is necessary to have it done by a turner who is really good at his job.
Most foreign manufacturers ask their customers for the shaft diameters in advance, machine the hub and ship it that way.

Coupling Maintenance
- It should be observed periodically (are there any breaks or cracks in the coupling parts, is the tire torn or deformed)
- It should be cleaned of oils and dirt.
- It should be checked for wear.
